Meader is a very well-known scholar of Alice Bailey and has dedicated many years to bringing her words of greater public attention. He has a great understanding of the writings and provides much insight.
'Messages from Spirit' by Colette Baron-Reid - Hay House Publishing
An easy-to-read book which covers many aspects of how Spirit works to send us messages every day through the use of signs and symbols. Colette Baron-Reid gives many examples of how we are being constantly contacted and supported by our guides and other spiritual beings. We just need to learn to become aware of the messages that are being transmitted. This book is fun to read and very enlightening.
'Wheels of Life' by Anodea Judith - Llewellyn Worldwide
Perhaps THE definitive work on the Chakra system, Anodea Judith's book is the comprehensive study of the seven major Chakras and everything related to them. It is amazingly thorough yet simple to read. Enjoy.
'Archangels and Ascended Masters' by Doreen Virtue - Hay House Publishing
This book is useful if you want to get a sense of a particular Archangel or Ascended Master. It is a good starting point for further study.
'The Complete Ascension Manual' by Joshua David Stone - Ballantyne
Much of Joshua David Stone's book is based on the works of Alice Bailey. He has strong views on his subject and is able to express them. This book is good to have as a reference and as a comparison for other interpretations on many esoteric subjects.
'Initiation' by Elisabeth Haich - Aurora
This is a very absorbing biographical account of past life regression. Elisabeth Haich tells us how as a young woman, she was haunted by a past life and how in accessing this life, her present life was transformed. The reader takes the journey with Elisabeth and is richly rewarded with an insight into the teachings and initiations of the ancients and the complexities of life those on the initiatory path at that time.
'Anna, Grandmother of Jesus' by Claire Heartsong - S.E.E. Publishing
This is a channelled work telling the story of Anna, Jesus' grandmother in Anna's own words. It is a very interesting book, challenging much of the accepted story of Jesus, delving deep into the esoteric and making many controversial claims. The descriptions are very evocative - it is as if one is whisked back in time to the Holy Land and are experiencing events first hand.
'The Camino' by Shirley Maclaine - Pocket Books
Shirley MacLaine has been famous for her spiritual practices for many years now and she is ideally placed to bring such philosophies to public attention. In 'Camino' Shirley MacLaine tells us of her pilgrimage along the sacred route through northern Spain. She has many spiritual insights and experiences along the way, but the most interesting is her vision of Lemuria which is breathtaking in its detail and colour.
'The Power of Now' by Eckhart Tolle - Hodder & Stoughton
A somewhat controversial book, 'The Power of Now' seeks to show us how we can release ourselves from the confines of our mind and intellect to access our true nature. Tolle advocates 'present moment awareness' and this technique is invaluable for those times when we are overcome by events and can 'see' no way out.

An invaluable reference book for healers and those interested in energy. Barbara Ann Brennan takes us through many aspects of the Human Energy Field and Universal Energy. She has a very thorough almost scientific style which brings a sense of gravitas to her work and to the subject.
