PURE REIKI
Reiki is a perfect, powerful and completely natural system of holistic healing.
It is neither faith healing or psychic healing, but is an automatic flow of universal energy through the practitioner to the object of the healing. In this way, through the gentle laying on of hands, Reiki, working on all levels, physical, mental, emotional or spiritual, goes straight to the point of imbalance.
The method came to the Western world from Japan in about 1945, but its origins are from Tibet, and are very ancient.
The name ‘Reiki' is Japanese and means ‘universal life force', and its results can be truly amazing. Reiki can:

• Speed healing of injuries
• Help addictions and emotional problems
• Expand you spiritually
Clients remain fully-clothed and may be seated or lying down. They can feel a gentle warmth and sense of well-being during the treatment, and often feel relaxed or energised and more balanced afterwards.
When it is impossible for the Practitioner to be physically present with the client, absent healing can be administered as long as the Practitioner has Reiki to the Second Degree at least.
Reiki often succeeds where other therapies fail, and importantly, it cannot conflict with medical or other treatments.

The Lineage
The method of Reiki Healing comes to us through the lineage of the last Reiki Grand Master- Hawayo Takata.
It was she who was responsible for bringing Reiki out of Japan, where it had been closely held as a national treasure, and introducing it to the rest of the world after World War II. Mrs Takata was committed to ensuring that Reiki was practised exactly as laid down by Mikao Usui, the first of the Grand Masters and the re-discoverer of Reiki.
It is therefore important for anyone wishing to become a Reiki healer, or for anyone seeking treatment, to find a Master or Practitioner who operates in accordance with the strict precepts and traditions of the three Reiki Grand Masters - Mikao Usui, Chujiro Hayashi and Hawayo Takata.
Julia is a very close to Grand Master Takata in the Reiki Lineage. She was attuned to all three levels of Reiki by Claire Montanaro (www.spiritualnavigator.com), whose own master, Jocelyn Graef, was attuned by Hawayo Takata.
Julia adheres precisely to Mrs Takata's teachings and practises Reiki in its original, purest, most effective form.
